Therapeutic Breathwork Therapuetic Breathwork combines deep breathing, specially selected music, hypnotic communication and focused body movement to promote healing, inner peace and freedom from emotional difficulties. Many people report cathartic, life-changing experiences from this practice. Although Therapuetic Breathwork is out of the mainstream of traditional psychological techniques (it is not taught at universities), it has been studied, tested and refined by many practitioners, scholars, and scientists worldwide for at least 30 years. Susan Bushong had an extremely successful Therapuetic Breathwork group in East Texas that lasted a number of years and was funded by the Texas Comission on Alcohol and Drug Abuse. Susan now holds groups regularly in a specially created environment at New Visions Group Counseling Center.
